MISSION

I want my patients to take control of their own healing. I want them to understand how powerful their minds and bodies really are, and how each organ and symptom is part of a larger system. Healing chronic and intractable ailments takes a certain level of sensitivity, which I’ve honed in order to treat stubborn conditions with gentle methods. Get in touch to find out more.

Back Massage

What do I do

If you’ve ever had an illness or injury that impacted your ability to move or carry out daily tasks, your doctor may have referred you to a physiotherapist to get you back on your feet. A physiotherapist, or physical therapist, works with patients to help them manage pain, balance, mobility, and motor function.
Most people at some point in their lifetime will work with a physiotherapist. You may have been referred to one after a car accident, after surgery, or to address low back pain. They work with patients with all types of conditions or limitations.

I provide a clinical type of massage and functional fitness training in order to manage pain from overuse syndrome, injuries, and/or dysfunctions. Whether in athletics, careers, or just projects around the house we tend to push our minds and bodies to the highest levels in order to accomplish our goals. This brings on higher and higher stress loads and these increased demands must be balanced with rest, and sometimes manual therapy like massage therapy or functional fitness in order to prevent or manage injuries. Although when a true injury is avoided, occasional muscle fatigue, cramps, and tight areas of the body remain an everyday part of our lives that leads to a loss of power, poor biomechanics, and painful or limited range of motion. Pre-habilitation through functional fitness is imperative in reducing the chance of injuries caused by the symptoms mentioned above.
